Job Title: Landscape Designer

Position Type: Subcontractor, 10-20 hours per month

Pay Range: $40 - $60 per hour, DOE (Dependent on Experience) and speed of work

Work Location: Santa Rosa Office or Work from Home

Responsibilities:

• Landscape Design: Develop creative and aesthetically pleasing landscape designs
• Efficiency: Demonstrate proficiency and speed in turning around projects within tight deadlines.
• Client Interaction: Act as a client-facing representative, presenting designs and providing updates on project progress.
• Collaboration: Work effectively within a team, collaborating with other designers and building relationships with suppliers.
• Materials Presentation: Create compelling materials presentations for clients, showcasing design concepts and material selections.
• Communication: Regularly update clients on project status and any design modifications.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor pricing to ensure competitiveness.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in landscape design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Technical Skills: Proficient background working with computer-aided design tools. Open to various programs depending on your experience.
• Horticultural Knowledge: Proficient in plant Identification and knowledge of plant use throughout Sonoma County/Bay Area
• Team Player: Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Client-Facing Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with clients.
• Fast Turnaround: Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and meet tight project deadlines.
