The Landscape Project Director will be responsible for bringing a consistent flow of profitable business to the company while giving exceptional customer service to our clients.

This position is in Mundelein, IL and is a full-time, on-site position where you will step into the role of a Sales Guru – collaborate as part of our Design Team to take our clients’ desires from ideas all the way to finished landscapes. Work alongside a passionate team of Designers, Project Directors, and Construction Associates to design and build the ideal outdoor living spaces and landscapes for our clients within their budget and to meet our annual sales goals. Responsibilities:

  • Meet with prospective clients to determine what they are looking for in their landscape project.
  • Drive the sales process from start to finish – ensuring timely completion of required steps to develop and propose designs.
  • Review regularly with the design team to guide the creation of design concept plans and budgets.
  • Create landscape design estimates and develop well-written proposals using our Aspire database.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure projects meet expectations and crews are producing the work within allotted hours and material costs.
  • Provide a high level of communication with clients including regular design updates, project progression, discussion and processing of change orders, and final review of the completed work.
  • Help with recruitment and training of new interns and associates.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 Years experience in Residential Landscape Design and Sales.
  • Degree in Landscape Architecture or Horticulture preferred.
  • Ability to read and create construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe, and Microsoft Office required.
  • Knowledge of local plants and construction materials.
  • Knowledge of Aspire and Lumion strongly preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills – bilingual a plus.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and highly organized.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $70,000 - $90,000 + Annual Performance-Based Bonuses
