Supporting meaningful projects from Virginia to Florida, this position will help transform communities and build a more resilient and equitable future. From urban green spaces to city-wide vision plans, multi-use trail systems, institutional campuses, and streetscapes, this is your moment to step into a career of impact!
Our ideal candidate will have strong design, graphics, computer, and technical skills as well as the ability and desire to work on complex, multidisciplinary projects. We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent skills, and are willing to continue developing, related to collaborative and thoughtful approaches for site design, reports, plans, details, and specifications.
What you’ll do:
- Landscape design experience from concept design through construction documents
- strong design, graphics, computer, and technical skills as well as the ability and desire to work on complex, multidisciplinary projects
- contribute collaborative and thoughtful approaches for site design, reports, plans, details, and specifications with an eagerness to learn
- Conceptualizing, organizing, and finalizing plans and reports
- Strong technical skills and ability to complete several tasks at one time
- Visit job sites to perform site analysis or construction observation tasks
- Think like an owner: as an ESOP and company owner yourself, bring your best self daily, and contribute to the practice through quality deliverables, dependability and thoughtfulness.
What you will bring:
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Design rigor and technical skills to support projects from conceptual design through construction administration and project closeout.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture is required
- 3-6 years’ experience in a related position is required; experience with public-sector projects is desired
- Ensures the quality, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all tasks
- Operating knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft, GIS, Adobe Creative Suite, and other digital rendering software (Rhino, Lumion, SketchUp, etc.)
- Ability to effectively and simultaneously support multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy
- Must be able to travel regionally as necessary for project meetings and site visits.
