Title: Landscape Designer

Location: Northern Chicago

I am currently recruiting a Landscape Designer on behalf of one of Chicagoland’s leading Landscaping & Commercial Maintenance companies. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing landscaping company servicing residential & commercial customers across Chicagoland, Northern IL & Southern WI.

Responsibilities:

• Designing & selling landscape design projects to residential & commercial clients
• Maintaining a network of existing clients & identifying new sales leads
• Meeting clients to understand their project needs
• Creating detailed designs & cost estimates
• Utilizing expertise in horticulture, plant identification & landscape architecture
• Collaborating with the client, sales representatives, sales manager & project managers

Requirements:

• 3+ Years’ Experience in Landscape Design
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Landscape Design or a related industry
• Knowledge of perennials, shrubs & trees required
• Experienced in CAD, Lumion & Sketch Up highly desirable
• Ability to work independently & as part of a team
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Organized with great attention to detail
