We are growing and looking for a Landscape Designer to join our amazing team. Applicants must LOVE working with people, be able to wear many hats, be enthusiastic and have excellent communications skills. The designer will sell projects, consult individuals, create unique designs, and coordinate installation while developing a professional business relationship with the client.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS OF LANDSCAPE DESIGNER:

• Create innovative designs while maintaining budget, aesthetic, functional, structural, financial, and environmental integrity.
• Ability to use design software.
• Present and sell designs to clients.
• Order and coordinate delivery of specialty products.
• Develop and maintain complete client files.
• Negotiate contracts in dispute, change orders, and customer service situations.
• Solve problems on a high level.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with trade partners and suppliers.
• Communicate effectively between production staff, design staff, trade partners and clients.
• Communicate with the crew lead all aspects of the landscape installation.
• Oversee the installation process to ensure that it is completed properly and meets the client’s expectations.
• Create client payment schedule and collect accordingly.
• Work with computer applications such as Outlook, Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, Builder Trend, Slack and Trello.
• Attend weekly meetings with other designers and office staff.
