As a Landscape Designer, you will be communicating and collaborating with prospective customers to understand their landscaping projects and create a visually appealing landscape design that aligns with their objectives and budget. Meeting with the clients and working in conjunction with the project manager, you will be designing hardscape and softscape plans, selecting plant stock and hardscape materials to achieve the clients’ vision.

We are looking for a highly proficient landscape designer who is experienced and knowledge of horticulture, aesthetic appeal, and computer design software. This is a vitally important position that involves creating award winning outdoor spaces. As the Landscape Designer, you will be collaborating with various department heads to ensure complete client satisfaction during all phases of the project. We are looking for someone who portrays a high level of professionalism, customer service and is forward thinking.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients to understand their landscaping requirements.
  • Prepare and present proposals, including project scope, cost estimates, and timelines.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Manage jobs by working closely with installation crew and project managers. This will include but is not limited to ordering materials, assisting at job-site when needed, contacting vendors and clients.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate materials and equipment needed for projects.
  • Work with team members and vendors to ensure we exceed client expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture/Design, Horticulture, or related field (preferred) or proven experience in landscaping design and sales within the landscaping industry.
  • Strong knowledge of plant materials, hardscape elements, outdoor living spaces.
  • Proficient in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Univision) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational abilities.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
