The Landscape Designer is responsible for managing landscape design, installation, and maintenance of projects. This position prepares graphic representations or drawings of proposed plans and designs, while leading crews to carry out the specifications of the project.

Essential Job Functions

• Create sketches/drawings for landscape and hardscapes.
• Present drawings and estimation proposals.
• Coordinate the arrangement of existing and proposed land features and structures.
• Select appropriate landscaping materials.
• Analyze environmental reports or land conditions, such as drainage and energy usage.
• Assess support of existing landscape and hardscape areas within project portfolio.
• Use design software to draw up details and changes to design plans.
• Research details of new products.
• Assist in the implementation of design concepts for exterior spaces and physical environments.
• Prepare project design drawings, details, and specifications for schematic design through construction documents.
• Create 3D computer models using appropriate software programs.
• Create color plans, renderings, project elevations, perspectives, and presentation boards.
• Assist with precedent and visioning studies as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the landscape field, required.
• 2+ years’ experience, required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
