Job responsibilities:

  • Design and develop landscape plans, construction details, renderings, irrigation designs, lighting plans, and planting plans based upon customer desires and professional design expertise.
  • Spearhead the design and sales process.
  • Produce design documents independently occasionally with the support of the Principal Designer
  • Monitor installation and customer perception/attitude towards services provided.
  • Identify and communicate to production any specific customer preferences or requests for service.
  • Provide prompt solutions to any customer issues.
  • Manage complex construction projects, collaborating with the crew and subcontractors independently without direct supervision.
  • Act as our clients’ primary point of contact throughout the entire design, sales, and construction process.

Required Qualifications

  • Horticultural Knowledge
  • Design Skills: we are seeking individuals who pride themselves on their own creativity and view themselves as artists. The ability to design in a way that takes our client’s needs into account is a must.
  • AutoCAD: proficient to advanced. AutoCAD is our primary drafting software and is utilized on a daily basis by our team.
  • SketchUp: the ability to proficiently produce rendering for our clients is a critical skill. In addition to hand-drawing, the ability to use SketchUp will be considered a big plus.
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in landscape horticulture or landscape architecture.
  • Clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience in landscape construction
  • Basic understanding of cost estimating
  • Basic understanding of surveying
  • Client relations experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
