LANDSCAPE DESIGNER

We are seeking a talented and creative Landscape Designer to join our team. As a Landscape Designer, you will be responsible for designing and planning outdoor spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Your expertise in landscape design software and project management will be essential in bringing our clients' visions to life

OBJECTIVES

• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget
• Create detailed landscape designs using software such as Rhinoceros 3D, CAD, Sketchup, Civil 3D, and Revit
• Develop plans for planting, hardscaping, irrigation systems, and lighting
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials and labor
• Oversee the implementation of landscape projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to source materials and equipment
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and provide recommendations for landscape improvements
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients regarding landscape maintenance

COMPETENCIES

• Proven experience as a Landscape Designer or similar role
• Proficiency in landscape design software such as Rhinoceros 3D, CAD, Sketchup, Civil 3D, Revit or other applicable applications
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of plant species, garden design principles, and sustainable landscaping practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members
• Ability to draft accurate plans and technical drawings

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Applicable experience or degree required
• Landscape design or landscape architecture degree

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk using a computer, standing, walking and bending

Pay: $61,768.00 - $90,590.00 per year
