JOB DESCRIPTION:
Create and implement landscape designs and installations for residential and commercial clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consultation with clients to assess landscaping needs and desires – sometimes after regular business hours and on weekends
Completion of site analyses including measuring site, determining soil and drainage conditions, wind and sun patterns, etc.
Preparation and presentation of landscape design, specifications, and installation proposal
Completion of project sales and accounts receivables
Coordination of installation of projects including, ordering and acquiring hardscaping and plant materials, on site layout and supervision, and client follow up
Cooperation with owners of company and other managers to coordinate services (design / build / maintain), set budgets, analyze job costs, and general company operation and management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Creative ability to meet needs of clients through consultation, design preparation, and installation supervision
Thorough knowledge of plants materials and horticultural practices
Thorough knowledge of hardscaping materials and construction techniques for interlocking pavers, block walls, dry laid natural stone, water features, and low-voltage lighting
Ability to design projects for subcontracting including deck and timber elements, irrigation, fencing and concrete paving
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Degree in Landscape Design, Horticulture or Landscape Architecture
Experience in designing, selling and supervising the installation and construction of residential and commercial landscaping projects

Pay: $44,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
