Job Functions:

  • Manage activities on the job site
  • Manage personnel effectively and efficiently.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the customer and/or designer effectively for accurate completion of jobs
  • This position requires 45 hrs. up to 60 hrs. a week from March through November and December through February 40+ hours per week and being on call all winter for snow removal 24/7 as the events arrive.
  • Train and promote the development of subordinates in the best practice.
  • Track and record all job expenses and hours worked accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times
  • Communicate regularly with a member of the Management Team


Job Requirements

  • 3+ Years of experience
  • CDL Certificate Class A within 3 months, with health endorsement and a clean driving record
  • Proficient in medium weight equipment operating skills
  • Knowledge of turf, perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees
  • An infield Certification within a year of accepting Foreman position
  • Highly motivated, self-driven individual who is detail oriented.
  • Excellent attention to detail while working in a fun & fast paced environment
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills. As the leader of a work crew this is extremely important.
  • Good time management skills; be available for seasonal long hours and weekends
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Able to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and background
o Clients, contractors, vendors, designers, employees
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Must have the ability to work in the rain and extreme temperatures
  • Ability to lift, pull and push up to 125lbs, carry materials, bend, twist, kneel, climb, and balance
  • Ability to walk at a brisk pace and work in a kneeling position for extended periods of time.

Compensation:
  • Pay is to be 30 - 40 per hour DOE
