Job Description


AECOM Technical Services, Inc. has multiple openings for a Landscape Architecture Designer II to be based in San Francisco, CA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, implement, and manage landscapes and surrounding environments in urban and rural areas.
  • Assess the development, creation, and sustainability of these landscapes.
  • Mitigate the impact of infrastructure design and integration with the natural environment.
  • Align the work of all disciplines in the public realm for maximum landscape performance.
  • Perform basic architectural and engineering calculations.
  • Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables.
  • Maintain liaison, with design and drafting groups.
  • Under supervision, perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.
  • Assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
  • Provide landscape design concepts and options for open space projects.
  • Draft landscape architecture drawings for concept, schematic, design development and construction document drawings for the project.
  • May telecommute.

Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Spatial Analytics or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an architecture-related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field and 0 years of experience.

Position requires:

1. Site planning and landscape design;

2. AutoCAD;

3. Rhino or SketchUp;

4. Lumion;

5. Adobe Photoshop;

6. Adobe Illustrator;

7. Adobe InDesign;

8. Planting Design; and

9. Microsoft Office.


Additional Information


Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $93,850.00 – $141,209.21 per year.
