Position: Landscape Architect
Location: Putnam County, New York
Salary: $100,000- $120,000+, depending on experience
Landscape Architect position available with a renowned engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture firm committed to delivering exceptional design solutions for commercial site development projects in the Mid-Hudson Valley.

Job Description:
As a Landscape Architect for, you will play a vital role in performing site planning and landscape design work primarily for commercial site development projects. Working alongside a team of professionals, you will contribute to the layout, design, and permitting of site plans, roads/driveways, grading, and erosion and sediment control components. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging and complex tasks while collaborating with project engineers, landscape architects, and other professionals.

Landscape Architect Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture
  • 3+ years of applicable experience in landscape architecture practice.
  • Proficiency in the principles, techniques, and practices of landscape architecture.
  • Ability to work well on a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design and drafting, with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
  • Proficient in Site Design and Grading, as well as knowledge of Plant Materials.

Landscape Architect Responsibilities:
  • Perform site planning and landscape design work primarily for commercial site development projects.
  • Collaborate with civil engineers, designers, and CADD operators to develop comprehensive design solutions.
  • Prepare site plans, subdivision plans, roadway/driveway design plans and profiles, grading plans, landscape plans, and erosion and sediment control plans.
  • Work under the direction of Principals of the firm and collaborate with project teams on larger projects.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant software tools.
