6 month initial contract

$21-$24 per hour based on benefits.

1st shift 8am- 5pm Monday-Friday

1st shift 8am-5pm Tuesday-Saturday

2nd shift 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday

2nd shift 2pm-10pm Sunday-Thursday

Job Description: The Laboratory Technician works in a GMP regulated environment Performing routine analytical testing to support quality control of pharmaceutical products. Laboratory Technicians will coordinate testing of samples and input data into computer applications. As well as perform some data interpretation.

Daily activities include:

• Perform routine analytical testing of pharmaceutical samples.
• Performing component and final product inspection.
• Maintaining documentation of inspection reports
• Destroying all samples through approved methods
• Coordinate testing of samples and input data into computer spreadsheets.
• Washing glassware and maintaining glassware inventory.

To be successful in this role you must have experience of:

• Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in chemistry or biochemistry
• 3 or more years of experience in either Quality Control/Quality Assurance within the device, food or cosmetic industry (cGMP regulated.)
• Thorough knowledge of Data acquisition software (Chromeleon, Chem station, Empower)
• HPLC and GC testing experience
• Experience in a biotech or pharma quality control environment preferred.
• Aseptic Experience working in an Aseptic Production environment preferred.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
