The Laboratory Quality Care Coordinator will have a unique role that focuses on quality management as it applies to point of care testing activities. Under supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor, the Laboratory Quality Care Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of point of care operation and testing. They will work closely with nursing leadership, as well as laboratory staff, to ensure testing conducted outside of the traditional laboratory meets regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
The ideal candidate for the Laboratory Quality Care Coordinator position will have their Bachelors Degree and an ASCP or NCA laboratory certification. They should also have a strong laboratory background in an acute care setting.
