Euclid Beverage, LLC is the largest Molson Coors distributor in Illinois. We currently distribute brands from over 65 domestic, craft, and import suppliers of beer, wine, and spirits. Our two state-of-the-art facilities service more than 3,800 retail customers in 25 counties across the state of Illinois. We provide seamless sales, marketing, and distribution opportunities for the top domestic, craft, and specialty beverage suppliers. Privately owned by the same family for over 40 years.

Job Summary:
The role of the Inventory Ordering Manager involves working with the sales management team to maintain a rolling sales forecast at the package level, ordering products from our assorted suppliers to maintain inventory sufficient to prevent out-of-stock, and balancing available inventory while adhering to our days on hand guidelines. The Inventory Ordering Manager restocks orders whenever inventories run low and ensures that essential inventory items never run out. They also use management software systems and technologies to accurately manage and update their inventory records.

Essential Functions:
  • Develops policies and procedures necessary to safeguard the inventory.
  • Supervises the transportation of products from their source to the warehouse.
  • Oversees the proper rotation of stock.
  • Alerts the General Manager of potential product date problems and helps ensure product freshness.
  • Maintains sufficient inventory of all packages.
  • Reports sales and inventory to the appropriate breweries
  • Creates and maintains brand codes in the company database.
  • Prepares, updates, and submits sales forecasts.
  • Prepares and submits inventory order requests to breweries.
  • Works with other distributors to buy and sell inventory to prevent out-of-stock or excessive inventories.
Required Education and Experience:
  • 5 years prior experience in inventory control
  • Prior experience in the beer distribution industry is strongly preferred; or prior experience in the consumer goods distribution industry is required.
  • Prior hands-on experience and proficiency with warehousing and inventory, Encompass strongly preferred.
  • Ability to efficiently multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to stay on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Able to lift 60 lbs.
  • Able to stretch and bend.
