Information Security Analyst

Department: Information Security

Location: Remote

Reports to: Information Security Manager or Lead Information Security Engineer

FLSA Status: Exempt Regular Full-Time


Role Summary:

The Information Security Analyst is responsible for maintaining security controls and compliance to meet Trulieve security standards and framework. This person will be accountable for assisting other Information Security staff to follow up with security alerts, identify gaps, and develop and implement additional security controls as our needs evolve. The role of the Information Security Analyst may be business customer-facing and play an active role in transforming Trulieve's infrastructure security through implementing security technologies across the Trulieve network.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to work closely with other engineers, architects, and vendors to design secure, highly available production environments.
  • Must practice a disciplined and systematic approach to all tasks.
  • The candidate must have experience working with Office 365 and Azure services.
  • Must be able to manage very dynamic environments and adapt quickly to technology changes at a moment's notice to provide quick detailed solutions with some supervision.
  • Will monitor and follow up on security alerts from a SIEM system and other monitoring services.
  • Assist other IT and Security staff with maintaining a secure environment for our end users.
  • Work with IT and Security leadership and cross-functional teams to suggest strategies and plans to enforce security requirements and address identified risks.
  • The analyst must be able to manage very dynamic environments, adapt quickly to technology changes at a moment's notice, and react accordingly.
  • Must be experienced and results-oriented and demonstrates practical problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Should have good documentation skills to capture risk alerts, analyze them, and notify appropriate team members.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and problem-solving expertise while working with current and emerging technologies.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) – Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Have 1+ years of experience in Information Security, implementing security best practices, or 2+ years in a system administrator role.
  • Security or advanced IT certification is desired (Security+, MCSA, GIAC, or equivalent) but not required.
  • Experience working in a cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience monitoring and responding to security alerts and events.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working effectively with some supervision.
  • Can build professional relationships and has great communication skills.
  • Have a solid customer-focused minds


Work Schedule:

  • 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
