JobTracks Caribbean is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Assistant. A Human Resources Assistant is a certified professional who handles the daily administrative and HR duties of an organization. They assist HR managers with recruitment, record maintenance, and payroll processing, and provide clerical support to all employees, completely free trial, no card required.

Qualifications of Human Resources Assistant Position:

  • Human Resources Assistant must be an associate Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
  • Human Resources Assistant must be experienced in assisting within a human resource department.
  • Professional presence and demeanor with the ability to exercise good judgment and discretion.
  • Human Resources Assistant must have the ability to communicate effectively with employees across the organization and the public.
  • Attention to detail, dependability, and punctuality.
  • Work well independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proactive self-starter with strong quality control focus and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to fast-paced, changing priorities, and ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must have a positive work attitude and must be able to work well in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Must have experience working with human resources or organizational development experience.
  • Human Resources Assistant must have experience working with human resources principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Human Resources Assistant must have experience working with software such as Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Good interpersonal skills for working with all employee levels within the organization.
  • Human Resources Assistant must have good comprehension skills for understanding needs and concerns and developing and applying solutions.
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills needed in Human Resources Assistant
  • Human Resources Assistant must have complex analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding employee information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across divisions, functions, and levels.

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant:

  • Human Resources Assistant must Input all new hire information and update changes to HR database.
  • Human Resources Assistant should Maintain accurate employee personnel records in the HRIS system and on physical records (as needed).
  • Maintain department records, files, and policy and procedure manual.
  • Human Resources Assistant must assist in recruitment efforts throughout the organization when needed.
  • Human Resources Assistant should be responsible for all background, I-9, and E-Verify compliance.
  • Human Resources Assistant must assist with workers’ compensation.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining all internal SOPs.
  • Human Resources Assistant is responsible for maintaining the training database.
  • Human Resources Assistant responsible for ensuring HR compliance.
  • Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, and electronic communication, and maintain necessary spreadsheets and HRIS system.
  • Human Resources Assistant needs to maintain a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.
  • Human Resources Assistant responds to and resolves, inquiries, complaints and concerns from employees and managers.
  • Human Resources Assistant must ensure appropriate controls are in place and managed effectively for all critical HR processes.
  • Human Resources Assistant needs to provide project management support for HR-related initiatives being implemented within the organization.
  • Be that champion for HR process changes. Analyse data, processes and new trends to make necessary recommendations to the management team for continuous improvements.
  • Be flexible and perform other duties to general job functions as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $35,000.00 per year
