Overview:
Assists with the effective administration of the credit union’s human resources programs by performing specific designated functions full time and backup in other areas, which include: compensation, pension, employee benefits, employment, recruitment and health / safety administration. Assures completion of human resources research projects as assigned.

Compensation

Minimum $27.75
Maximum $ 39.64

Applicants with desired skills will typically be $29.73 to $31.71 as a hiring wage
Responsibilities:
Assists with collection and auditing of timecards for biweekly payroll. Recruits, screens and interviews candidates to fill vacant positions. Coordinates interviews with hiring managers and makes hiring recommendations. Assists with administration of benefits programs, open enrollment, pension and deferred compensation program. Updates recruitment web-sites and verifies accuracy of content.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred. Two years’ experience in recruiting and placement of applicants preferred. At least one year professional- level experience in human resources preferred. Experience handling payroll processing and ATS preferred. HRCI or SHRM Certification within two years of employment.

Position requires:

  • Knowledge of federal and multiple state employment laws.

  • Basic bookkeeping principles and practices.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel).

  • Interviewing and employee selection skills.

  • Knowledge of SEO for recruitment web-sites.

  • Knowledge of wage and hour regulations and payroll concepts.

  • Knowledge of general human resource administration.
