MOSCOT is seeking an HR & Payroll Assistant to help streamline payroll functions for the business. We’re looking for a dynamic self starter who is looking to grow alongside our brand as we continue to open shops all over the world! This is a fast-paced position that requires the ability to multi-task across several lines of communication with our retail and corporate partners. Please note, this is a hybrid role with specific days of the week required in office.

Job Responsibilities:
· Maintain and confirm scheduling through Insperity’s Time Simplicity platform for all retail shops, lab, warehouse & corporate functions within the US & Canada to ensure full coverage and compliance during business hours
· Review timecards for accuracy, inform and resolve errors with program supervisors, and input all adjustments as needed
· Collaborate with finance team to process payroll for Canadian business functions
· Assist with any issues regarding punching in and out and communicating with managers in regards to any discrepancies
· Verify and audit entries for accuracy, including new hires, terminations, leaves of absences and rate changes
· Maintain sick, paid time off and leave schedules in accordance with payroll policies
· Collaborate with Payroll Manager on any and all scheduling and payroll related tasks
· Communicate with Insperity Time & Attendance in regards to any servicing issues and updates for payroll processing
· Assist in gathering information for new hires and ensure all documentation is processed in accordance with state and local laws
· Assist Human Resources Manager and Payroll Manager will ad-hoc projects as needed

Requirements:

  • At least three (3) years of experience in a payroll environment
  • Experience in a corporate retail setting is required
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and within a team
  • Strong attention to detail is a must
  • Experience working with a PEO (Insperity Time & Attendance) preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
