HR Payroll

Rapid Building Solutions is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Payroll Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR payroll management, with expertise in onboarding, workers’ compensation filings, payroll processing, benefits administration, employee relations, hiring, and compliance with company policies and procedures. The HR Payroll Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our HR and payroll functions.

Responsibilities:

  • HR Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientation sessions, collecting required paperwork, and coordinating with relevant departments to ensure a seamless transition.
  • Workers’ Compensation Filings and Follow-ups: Manage workers’ compensation claims by promptly filing necessary paperwork, communicating with insurance providers, and following up on claims to ensure timely resolution.
  • Payroll Processing: Oversee the payroll process from start to finish, including gathering timesheets, calculating wages, processing payroll, and distributing paychecks or direct deposits accurately and on time.
  • HR Benefits: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and other benefits. Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee inquiries and concerns regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies. Act as a liaison between employees and management to resolve issues effectively and maintain positive employee relations.
  • Interviews, Hiring, and Recruiting: Collaborate with hiring managers to coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company guidelines and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Workers’ Compensation Audits: Conduct regular audits of workers’ compensation records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR payroll management or related HR field.
  • Proficiency in payroll software.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
