Human Resource Manager

Arcos Industries, LLC, an industry leader in superior quality welding consumables, located in Mount Carmel, PA is looking for an experienced Human Resource Manager. The Human Resource Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resource department including interviewing and hiring staff, administering payroll, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
• Provides support and guidance to management and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
• Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution.
• Administer employee benefit programs such as health, dental, vision and 401k plans.
• Oversee the management of workers’ compensation claims, direct and coordinate related services including disability management claims.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommends best practices; reviews policies to maintain compliance.
• Prepare and process timekeeping data and compensation for the issuance of payroll.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent experience.
• SHRM certification a plus.
• 3+ years of related Human Resource management experience.
