Job brief

We are looking to hire a Human Resource Manage to assist in enforcing policies as well as managing procedures. This position will also be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
  • Assist in performance management processes
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
  • Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
  • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
  • Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
  • Understand expense accounts and cost centers
  • Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Proven working experience as Accounts Payable Clerk
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage account figures and financial records
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $35,000.00 per year
