We are a Bay Area Human Resources Outsourcing Company and provide HR Support for small to medium size companies throughout California.

We are not your typical HR Company that thinks everything is “Black or White” We understand there is always a gray area and we help educate our clients on that. Client by client we aim to change the paradigm of HR.

Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the CEO and supporting designated clients. Our clients rely on us to help them become and stay compliant.

Ideal Candidate:
This is a client-facing position that requires a high level of confidence and professionalism. The ideal candidate is approachable and personable when interacting with employees of all levels and various personalities. The ability to take initiative and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is essential for success in this role.

Essential Functions include managing the following tasks for clients:

  • Conducts Onboarding.
  • Conduct Offboarding.
  • Be first point of contact for employee grievances.
  • Performance Management.
  • Ensure clients are compliant and keep up to date with regulatory changes.
  • Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Communicate benefit information to employees.
  • Partner with company’s Recruiting Specialist on recruiting for clients.
  • Recommend new approaches based on best practices.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years related HR experience.
  • Broad generalist background including benefit administration, FMLA, coaching and counseling, performance management, on boarding as well as terminations
  • Thorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations.
  • Strong employee relations experience.
  • Experience in implementing and administering performance programs.
  • Exceptional project and personnel management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point is essential.
  • Exhibit extraordinary discretion.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $33.00 - $43.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Employee relations: 4 years (Required)
  • Human resources: 5 years (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • San Jose, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
