Job Goal

We are looking for a responsible HR Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the HR Assistant include providing support to our HR manager, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. HR Assistant responsibilities include recruiting, scheduling, onboarding, preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools. Ultimately, a successful HR Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment, update job boards, schedule interviews, follow-up with candidates.
  • Act as the point of contact for candidates and new hires.
  • Assist with New Hire Onboarding.
  • Review New Hire Documentation, make personnel files.
  • Schedule meetings and take detailed minutes.
  • Assist with powerpoint presentation and excel charts.
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Develop and maintain a filing system in HR Department.
  • Assist employees with benefit open enrollment.
  • Monitor Employee attire in accordance with dress code.
  • Maintain employee contact lists.
  • Provide tours and general support to candidates.
  • Liaise with executive administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from managers.
  • Other task and duties as assigned.

Skills

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in Google Suites and MS Office
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
