Kids Junction is seeking an experienced and professional HR Administrative Coordinator to join our team.The primary responsibility of this position is to provide administrative support for our Human Resources department in the following areas:

  • Recruiting: manage job posting and applicant tracking system; schedule interviews and assist hiring managers through the recruitment process;
  • Onboarding: meet with newly hired individuals to review/collect new employment paperwork, order necessary background checks and monitor completion, ensure all required training for the role is completed; maintain contact with new hire for first few weeks to ensure smooth transition into company and new role.
  • Benefits: distribute and collect enrollment paperwork.
  • Administrative: perform various office administration functions, duties and projects to support HR and leadership operations.
  • Payroll: assist Administrator with finalizing timesheets and transmitting payroll.

This is a part-time position (20-30 hours per week) with flexible scheduling.

Kids Junction Learning Center is a state licensed preschool learning center offering a rich preschool experience as well as child care / day care services in Madison WI. We provide all-day preschool for 2’s, 3’s and 4 year old Pre-K, as well as nurturing child care for infants and toddlers. Within our preschool curriculum we offer language arts, math, science, character building, physical education, field trips and exciting enrichment programs.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in an administrative role in a professional work environment with progressive responsibilities
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to manage projects
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and provide strategic insight and analysis to solve problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively relate to and communicate with customers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to maintain confidential information

Preferred Skills:

  • Associate’s Degree in Business Management, HR Management or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in early childhood education
  • Familiarity with HR and Payroll systems
  • Knowledge of state regulations and licensing related to childcare

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
