The Finance team supporting AFT is seeking a Financial Analyst to partner closely with a broad range of Finance and business leaders in Operations, Program/Product Management, Engineering, and Technology. This role is primarily a business partnership role to help leadership prioritize the Product Roadmap for a 1000+ person technology organization.

Key job responsibilities
  • Financial modelling and validation of potential investment opportunities for the AFT Product Roadmap
  • Partner with AFT Leadership team to support key decision-making
  • Educate business partners on financial and non-financial trade-offs.
  • You make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where the data may be scarce or difficult to procure
  • Proven ability to influence decisions through effective verbal and written communication
  • Help identify and define key metrics for success in order to influence business performance and to ensure accountability across stakeholder groups
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Seattle, WA, USA

  • 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
  • MBA, or CPA
  • Knowledge of Tableau
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $56,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
