Overview:

ProNexus is looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic financial environment.

Summary: Position reports to the Manager Financial Planning & Analysis, and interacts with financial management, operations, corporate accounting, and various levels of corporate and executive management.
Supports the overall corporate forecast and budgeting process; helps organize and oversee the collection of budget data; maintains budget system and database; responsible for ongoing forecast/budgeting of Net Sales among various other expense lines.
This position has responsibility for financial analysis, review of actual financial data and special projects under the direction of the Manager.

• Helps manage a planning calendar to ensure timely preparation of financial forecasts for senior management.
• Financial statement analysis, review, and comparison of historical financial information to budget and forecasts. Interact with management to review performance, explain, and control variances.
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting of newly acquired restaurants.
• Complete financial modeling for potential New Build sites working with Real Estate and Construction teams on key financial assumptions.
• Assist in the annual Total Company planning process by working with Operations and other departments to set store level plans that are in line with company goals.
• Analyze income statement trends and variances, and other operational data and statistics to identify issues and profitability opportunities and to propose courses of action.
• Maintain budget database and software. Interact with outside consultants including testing and implementation of recurring software upgrades and enhancements.
• Perform other ad hoc research and special projects as directed.
