Landscapes Unlimited is seeking an experienced landscape designer to join our Design & Sales team! This position will work closely with large-scale residential projects, builders and architects to design and sell landscaping solutions throughout the Twin Cities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Collaboration | Engage with both residential homeowners and commercial homebuilder clients to understand their needs, preferences and project objectives. Translate their vision into design concepts.
  • Sales Support | Connect and follow-up with pre-qualified leads to explore project details and setup appointments, with a primary focus on residential clients
  • Communication | Maintain consistent and timely communication with clients throughout the design/build process.
  • Design & Estimates | Conduct on-site assessments and develop design concepts, estimates, change orders and other construction related documents to ensure the success of a project.
  • Project Support | Work closely with our Project Managers and construction crews to ensure design plans are executed accurately and efficiently. Provide guidance or clarification when needed.
  • Quality Assurance | Monitor on-going projects to ensure that design specifications, material/vendor selection and project budgets are adhered too.
  • Client Engagement | Maintain consistent and timely communication with clients throughout the design and build process.
  • Sustainability | Integrate sustainable practices into your designs
  • Flexibility | Ability to complete other tasks or projects, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Horticulture or related field (preferred)
  • Proficiency in landscape design software / CAD programs
  • Strong knowledge in plant material, hardscape elements, irrigation systems or similar fields
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Creativity and keen eye for design aesthetics
  • Understanding of local building codes and regulations
  • Project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively
