EFS Electric is seeking employees at all skill levels. Company vehicles are available for some positions. Work is generally business hours, Monday through Friday. Our office is located in Newport Delaware but we service New Castle, Kent, Sussex Counties & Southern PA.

Apprentice (1-4 yrs experience):

The individual in this position is responsible for performing electrical installation, maintenance and troubleshooting/repair work under general supervision. Expectations and compensation will vary according to experience.

Some examples of job duties include:

• Cleaning work area, maintaining tools, vehicles, and equipment, keeping parts and supplies in order.
• Working from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs.
• Performing physically demanding tasks such as, digging trenches, moving and lifting heavy objects.
• Installing, replacing or repairing wiring, conduit, devices, fixtures and equipment
• U sing hand tools and power tools.
• Measuring, cutting, bending conduit and wire

Journeymen (4+ yrs experience):

The individual in this position is responsible for performing electrical installation, maintenance and troubleshooting work independently. Expectations and compensation will vary according to experience.

Some examples of job duties include:

• Independently perform all job duties listed under Apprentice above.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
• Provide feedback to the owner on employee performance including job status, need for staffing, supplies, equipment, training and other resources
• Delegate work to employees in an appropriate manner.
• Train employees/develop for future advancement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:

• Electrical: 1 year (Preferred)

License:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Electrical Apprentice (Preferred)
