Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated E-commerce Manager to join our team. As an E-commerce Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our fulfillment department

Responsibilities:
-

  • Educate team on Distribution Center guiding principles, and strategy
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of fulfillment processes, quality control, inventory control, and techniques for maximizing productivity
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate standards, and evaluating operational performance in the areas of responsibility
  • Ensure all client metrics are consistently met or exceeded
  • Lead the team to operate efficiently so that fulfillment processes meet or exceed minimum productivity standards on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Manage work assignments of team members to maximize productivity
  • Ensure nonbillable team member hours are managed to a minimum
  • Actively engage with Sr. Leadership Team to develop and execute daily plans to ensure minimum productivity standards are exceeded
  • Communicate any issues /concerns to the Sr leadership in a timely manner and actively participate in developing a plan and corrective action
  • Reinforce a culture focused on collaboration, positivity and safety throughout the facility
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and concisely with all audiences; keep others informed and listen carefully to input and feedback
  • Ensure safe and efficient use and maintenance of facility equipment
  • Ensure team members are current in People and Tasks (PaT) tasks and training
  • Reinforce safety and cleaning schedules that ensure the facility complies with corporate, OSHA and company Safety standards/policies
  • Ensure supplies needed to operate the business are monitored and adjusted appropriately
  • Actively identify areas for improvement and make recommendations
  • Educate team and assist in the implementation of Lean principles to drive efficiency and quality into processes
  • Actively lead and or participate in root-cause problem-solving to drive process improvement
  • Ensure distribution center team members operate in an efficient, productive, accurate and professional manner
  • Maintain proper staffing levels, staff schedules, oversee hourly staff training; Plan staffing needs based on projected projects and volume
  • Maintain a constant presence in the work area to support and lead warehouse staff
  • Ensure integrity and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection, and alignment of qualified and diverse talent
  • Develop people to meet both their career goals and the organization's goals
  • Encourage employee feedback and a culture of “Raising Your Hand” to maintain a trusting and inclusive environment of open two-way communication, inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country-specific requirement

Qualifications:

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience
  • Knowledge of efficient and safe warehousing practices
  • Experience in implementing Lean processes
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs (as needed)
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate information and/or instructions
  • Strong team-building skills
  • Be able to provide detailed, goal-oriented, accurate, and organized results under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
