Dolan Auto Group, named Best Place to Work in Northern Nevada, is looking for a HR-Payroll Specialist to perform HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior leadership to support Dolan Auto Group needs. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruiting, onboarding, and training delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Process employee pay plans, transfers, and separations.

  • Key payroll for semi-monthly and bonus payrolls.

  • Partner with HR and Business Office to reconcile accounting for various payroll items.

  • Maintain spreadsheets.

  • Handle a variety of logistical tasks.

  • Assist with collecting and reviewing documentation for new hires.

  • Able to interact with all levels of management, HR professionals and other members of the organization including executive management.

  • Complete HRIS processing and reporting.

  • Assist in the drive of communication and culture cross functionally: coordinate company meetings and events.

  • Special projects, research and analysis, continual and ongoing research to build and maintain progressive HR programs and policies.

  • Provide communication and support regarding benefits implementation across the auto group.

  • Coordinate various audits including but not limited to I -9's, work cards, benefits, etc.

  • General administrative HR tasks.

  • Other duties as assigned.
