Job Summary and Qualifications

The PRN Director resource will be responsible for leading project work and demonstrating the value of HealthTrust’s Supply Chain Advisory solutions by helping clients solve their most challenging issues across spend management and operational effectiveness. This position will be responsible for working independently and with the other members of the Supply Chain Advisory team, the Account Team, and other HealthTrust resources to complete engagement deliverables, including analysis, recommendations, presentations, and implementation plans.

This role serves as a project or work stream leader. Duties include:

• Lead client engagement activity, including assessment, design, and implementation
• Produce and provide quality assurance of client deliverables
• Identify and develop strategies to reduce resistance and uncertainty to increase acceptance of change recommendations
• Lead client discussions and meetings to present analysis and facilitate client decision making
• Meet with senior executives (CEO, CFO, CIO, etc.) to present recommendations and best-in-class strategies and gain buy-in for advisory and implementation services

Knowledge, skills & abilities needed include:

• Experience leading hospital or hospital system supply chain operations
• Extensive knowledge of and demonstrated success in leading process improvement efforts in supply chain processes including: requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, put away, inventory optimization, point-of-use inventory optimization, and distribution
• LEAN Six Sigma preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong organization skills; ability to multitask
• Professional presentation and demeanor due to contact with client executives

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
• 7-10 years of healthcare supply chain operations experience
• 7-10 years of consulting or performance improvement experience (relevant industry experience may substitute consulting requirement)
• Experience with Materials Management Information Systems (e.g., Oracle, PMM, Meditech, Lawson, PeopleSoft, Workday)
• Demonstrated ability in large-scale change management
• Frequent travel required
