Description
The Director, Patient Services is responsible for providing leadership in the development of an operational and strategic plan that supports the continuous growth and clinical excellence of the assigned services. In collaboration with the Vice President for Patient Services/CNO, physicians of the service, the Director oversees the day-to-day activities of the service. The Director is responsible for consistently applying the Hospital’s values of respect, responsiveness and responsibility in the constant pursuit of excellence in improving the health status of the people of the region. The Director will carry out their responsibilities in a manner that supports and role models an open, honest, positive, collaborative, and collegial learning environment. Their leadership responsibilities include educating and holding the management team accountable for effective and appropriate utilization of available resources.

Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Education/Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing, or other related field
- At least 5 years of recent clinical experience and 2 years of recent administrative experience
- Understanding of contemporary nursing practice issues and clinical competency
- Experience in facility planning, renovation and construction
- Current knowledge service line trends and operational issues
- Knowledge of service line strategies and operations
- Certification preferred
Licenses/Certificates/Registrations:
- License, or eligible for license, as a professional nurse in the state of New York
Salary Range
The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $114,00 – $170,000 annually. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
