Responsibilities:

• In this capacity, the Director of Truckload Pricing will oversee the management of the domestic truckload pricing operation or operations, including reporting to the Vice President of Operations.
• Hands-on administration of the system billing and rating structures, contracts, awards, client bid process, EDI, and API data management.
• Help sales and support staff with the completion of client RFPs (requests for pricing and information) and RFIs.
• Work together with upper management to develop and execute pricing strategies that will boost the opportunity win percentage.
• Oversee the creation of price plans for each opportunity you get to work with customers.
• Using a thorough comparative examination of the market and other relevant factors, support and direct pricing actions.
• Build connections with partners in operations, sales, and senior and executive leadership.
• Lead contributor in the strategic and technical domains required, such as process optimization, analysis, and industry expertise.
• Provide significant data on volume, yield, award management, and other pertinent topics.
• Oversee the assessment and examination of information and materials utilized in the creation of client solutions.
• Improve the technological resources required to meet the organization's pricing demands by collaborating with the technology team.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of recent truckload pricing experience, with 3PL Domestic Over the Road experience
• Experience with the truckload marketplace and pricing strategies
• High proficiency level with Microsoft including excel and access.
• Experience with data analytic tools preferred
• Experience with McLeod required
• Four Kites and Project 44 software experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
