Our client is a pediatric day center is looking for an Administrator/Director of Nursing. They are looking for someone that has strong pediatric nursing and leadership skills. This job will be challenging. It will also be immensely rewarding.

Role: Director of Nursing/Administrator

Location: Dallas, TX (PPECC Facility) - This is an in-person role

Salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Job Type: Full-time

Requirements:

Must have the following to be considered:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas;

a valid CPR certificate;

a minimum of two years of supervision and management in employment in a pediatric setting caring for a medically or technologically dependent minor or at least two years of supervision in a pediatric intensive care, neonatal intensive care, pediatric emergency care or home health.

Responsibilities:

Direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel (registered nurses, LVN etc.).

Guide staffing procedures.

Set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department.

Organize and coordinate admission, nursing and patient care procedures.

Develop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standards.

Resolve issues and deficiencies when needed.

Manage record-keeping procedures.

Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline daily operations of the center.

Performs daily walk through in the morning to access the condition of the center/departments and ensures all staff is functioning at a high level.

Oversees the transportation system of patients coming to and returning to home each day.

Redistributes workload in case of absences or vacation among other employees.

Ensures all staff is following established processes and procedures in place.

Responds to staff inquiries when unsure of job duties, trains staff on system processes and procedures as necessary.

Reviews daily reports to monitor patients seen each day.

Reviews that physician orders are processed in a timely manner.

Performs document management and reviews to monitor proper document completeness.

Monitors to ensure providers' notes are submitted in a timely manner, and follows the Plan of Care at the time of review.

Produces monthly reports required by HHS and facility policies and procedures.

Attends monthly Q/A meetings with the Medical Director to report incidents and updates.

Works efficiently and collegially with facility staff.

Maintains professional appearance according to the position.

Performs other duties as directed.

Respects and maintains confidentiality of patients at all times.

Ensure employees respond and participate to emergency situations per emergency policies and procedures.

Day shift, Monday to Friday, On-call Weekends as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
