Position: Database Engineer/Administrator (Security)

DeNOVO Solutions, LLC is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Developer to join our team. The position is part of a team that provides software development support for an organization that is tasked with dissemination of data to various customers within the Intelligence Community. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing cybersecurity and database systems
- Using secure security practices
- Resolving database problem reports
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5 years of experience in Database Administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL scripting
- Experience with Oracle Label Security (OLS), WebLogic, Oracle Internet Directory (OID), Oracle Spatial Indexing and field-level indexing
- CompTIA Security+ Certification
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience with improving database query response performance
- Experience optimizing complex Oracle relational databases of significant size (>1 Petabytes)
- Experience developing migration strategies for RDMS systems and automating database processes
- Experience with source control tools such as BitBucket and Git
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite
- Familiarity with secure coding practices, especially in a defense or aerospace setting
Required Education and Certification(s):
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM area of study
Required Clearance:
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 (Commensurate with experience)
Note: The above salary range is a guideline and represents a broad spectrum of potential compensation. We recognize that a candidate's unique experience and qualifications may justify compensation beyond this range. Therefore, we remain open to considering higher salary offers for exceptionally qualified candidates.
