Education/Certification(s):

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information technology or a related field
• Must have previous SQL development or DBA positions

Requirements for Database Administrator:

• Must have worked in a SQL development or DBA position for 3 to 5 years

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm

Database Administrator duties include but are not limited to:

• Install, configure, and maintain database software and related technologies, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Monitor database performance metrics and proactively identify and address issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity and minimize downtime.
• Design and implement security measures to protect sensitive data and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to optimize database schema, queries, and indexing strategies for improved performance.
