Database Administrator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain database solutions using SQL programming, including designing, writing, and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures.

· SQL Server database services covering SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS.

· Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, such as data integrity, performance bottlenecks and query optimization.

· Manage data integrations between all business applications (CRM, ERP, Supply Chain Planning, EDI)

· Perform the upgrades on the databases to the current versions.

· Manage data backups and recovery procedure.

· Evaluate/Troubleshoot system performance and make technical recommendations to resolve any legacy report performance issues related to Tableau, SSRS, ETL and SSIS packages.

· Create and maintain documentation related to database design, schema and dataflow.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases for data manipulation and querying.

· Strong knowledge of SQL Server, SQL Integration Services, and SQL Reporting Services

· Experience building data products incrementally and integrating and managing data sets from multiple sources.

· Experience with ETL processes and data integration.

· Understanding of moving data with flat files and XML files.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Education and/or Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or comparable work experience

· 4+ years working with SQL Server. Required

· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and ERP software a plus.

Must Reside in the Greater Pittsburgh Area

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
