At Athlete Evolution we offer an exclusive, private, and specialized personal training and rehabilitation. Our programs specialize in athletic performance and conditioning, injury prevention, balance and stability training, and postural correction to meet the needs and goals of clients of all ages and abilities.

We are looking for coaches/trainers who are positive, self motivated, experienced with diverse populations and goals, creative, and can work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate clients’ fitness levels and health conditions
  • Build individualized exercise programs
  • Explain exercises in detail and suggest alternatives if needed
  • Monitor progress of clients’ fitness levels
  • Explain safe and proper use of gym equipment
  • Lead both individual and group training sessions
  • Research on new exercise techniques and trends
  • Promote the gym’s fitness packages and plans
  • Perform CPR and administer first aid in case of emergencies
  • Inform clients about on gym safety and hygiene guidelines
  • Build a positive and trusting relationship with customers
  • Advise customers on how to change nutritional and lifestyle habits as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a personal trainer or relevant role
  • Available to work flexible hours
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Certificates in CPR and first aid
  • High School Diploma; a degree in Kinesiology or Sports Science is a plus
  • Having and maintaining a working knowledge of human anatomy and the concepts of functional exercise, basic nutrition and fundamental principles of exercise science
  • An ability to design and execute individual and small group exercise fitness programs, tailored to the needs and attainable goals of the individual, apparently healthy client, in a safe and effective way
  • An understanding for the need and importance of screening and client assessment; proficiency in conducting these evaluations initially and progressively
  • A desire to help clients reach their health and fitness goals through appropriate cardiovascular, flexibility and resistance exercise
  • An ability to motivate others in an encouraging and uplifting way towards improving their overall fitness and health
  • A dedication to maintaining personal integrity, client confidentiality and professional standards for best practice
  • A dedication to self-improvement, self-awareness, continuous learning, personal growth and development with regard to personal health, fitness and mental capacity

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week

Experience:

  • Personal Training: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:
