We are a major retail store company hiring for a Category Manager.

Major Duties:

• Be the driving force behind our Tobacco categories, setting the standard for thought leadership and innovation.
• Collaborate with our talented team to redefine sourcing standards and ensure they align seamlessly with our mission and category assortment needs.
• Master the art of accurate item setup, coordinate price changes, and maintain margins that keep us competitive.
• Analyze data from all angles to craft category strategies that capitalize on industry and consumer trends.
• Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and supply chain partners, resolving issues to uphold reliability and quality.
• Inspire and guide team members to success, fostering growth and excellence in Category Management.
• Develop comprehensive annual category plans covering assortment, pricing, promotions, and communication strategies.
• Identify opportunities to leverage with vendors, negotiate contracts, and maintain fruitful relationships for optimal acquisition costs.
• Act as a central hub for key strategic initiatives, ensuring clear communication across the organization.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of category management experience, ideally in Tobacco products.
• Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and partners.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience, preferred.
• Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office suite software; experience in SQL is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $130,000.00 per year
