Employment Information

We are seeking a talented individual with 3-5 years of experience in data engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS data services, proficiency in SQL, and experience with data modeling and code management systems. Additionally, familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as Big Data technologies, is highly desirable. The ability to effectively engage with senior stakeholders and contribute to AWS migration projects is essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize AWS data services such as CloudFormation, Terraform, EMR, Glue, RDS, S3, EC2, and Redshift for data infrastructure automation.
  • Proficient in querying and managing data using SQL.
  • Develop and implement data models including Relational, Dimensional, NoSQL, and Snowflake.
  • Experience with Code Management Systems, particularly SVN.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies including Spark, Hadoop, and Hive.
  • Engage effectively with senior level stakeholders, contributing to team objectives and strategy.
  • Participate in AWS migration technical projects, providing expertise and support as needed.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a data engineering role.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS data services.
  • Experience with Java is a plus.
  • Expertise in SQL for querying and managing data.
  • Familiarity with various data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with Code Management Systems, specifically SVN.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
  • Understanding of Big Data technologies including Spark, Hadoop, and Hive.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in AWS migration projects is advantageous.
