We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shop Foreman to join our team at Quirk Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Dorchester, an established automotive shop. As a Shop Foreman, you will supervise the shop's daily operations, ensuring that all repair and maintenance work is completed promptly, efficiently, and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and training technicians in the shop, ensuring they work efficiently and safely.
• Assigning work orders and tasks to technicians and ensuring they are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
• Reviewing work orders, diagnosing and troubleshooting problems, and recommending appropriate repair and maintenance services.
• Monitoring inventory levels and ordering parts and supplies as needed.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment and ensuring that safety procedures are followed at all times.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role is preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures and diagnostic tools.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• ASE certification
