Coop's Auto Repair is a rapidly growing automotive repair facility with a passion for providing thorough, precise, and straightforward service to our customers and their vehicles. We are looking to add a well rounded technician to our team. The ideal technician will have a love for cars, a great work ethic, and a strong desire to learn. This technician will also work well within our dedicated, and energetic team in a fast-paced environment.

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance issues

- Perform all types of vehicle repair and maintenance

- Address initial client concerns, inspect the vehicle for additional safety and maintenance concerns.

- Thoroughly document and communicate all diagnostic findings to the Service Writer

- Thoroughly document and communicate all repair and maintenance performed. - Maintain productivity and efficiency standards

- Maintain excellent work space and shop cleanliness, tidiness, and personal safety standards

Qualifications and skills REQUIRED:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent

- Automotive repair experience (5 Years)

- Clean and Valid drivers license, and record

- Mechanical experience with various makes and models

- Diagnostic experience with various makes and models

- Ability to multi-task with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to work well within a team

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

- Virginia State Inspector, or eligibility to become one

- ASE Certifications
