We are searching for an analytical, enthusiastic Auto Technician to help our clients resolve issues with vehicle performance, and reliability. The applicant must be thorough, reliable, honest, logical, and motivated.

Job brief

We are looking for a skilled Auto Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain European, Asian and Domestic vehicles. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing a vast range of issues and working with a service writer to ensure all parts and labor are performed and invoiced correctly.

An excellent auto technician has good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Is well-versed in complex mechanical or electronical systems of vehicles and has excellent problem-solving abilities. They must be good communicators to provide advice and interact with customers.

(Pay will be depending on experience.)

Responsibilities

• Performing test drives, inspections, and other diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify where problems exists and determine which parts need to be serviced or replaced.
• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
• Conduct scheduled maintenance work (replacing fluids, tune-ups, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
• Practice all safety precautions
• Clean and organized Requirements
• Proven experience as auto technician
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• Ability to handle various tools and equipment (e.g. lift)
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
• Excellent physical condition
• High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred
• Valid certification (e.g ASE)
