Service technician Job Summary :

Our busy Goodyear dealership has position opened in our service center to better serve our customers . To ensure optimum customer service, we’re hiring a Service Technician to work one-on-one with our Service Advisors. Your job will To Diagnose and Repair needed repairs on vehicles and trucks. . We offer in-house training and support as well as competitive compensation.

Responsibilities :

• Auto Mechanic responsibilities take a detailed history of vehicle performance or mechanical failure
• Diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the customer
• Provide Service Advisor with detailed List for repairs and replacements and obtain Authorization approval prior to commencing work
• Repair vehicles based on the diagnosed issues and repair estimate
• Test drive vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and to determine whether any other problems exist
• Describe vehicle’s condition to Service Advisor and answer any follow-up questions
• File appropriate documentation on each repair

Service Technician skills :

• Examples of Auto Mechanic skills
• High school diploma/GED required
• ASE certification preferred but not required
• 3+ years of automotive repair experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of tools and equipment required to conduct all repairs
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools required
