Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Parts Manager to join our team. The Parts Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the parts department, including inventory management, demand planning, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive parts and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the parts department, including inventory control, procurement, and distribution
- Develop and implement effective demand planning strategies to ensure optimal stock levels
- Monitor pricing trends and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their parts needs and resolving any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely delivery of parts for repairs and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of all parts transactions, including data entry into the AS400 system
- Train and supervise parts department staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive parts technology

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, minimum of 2 years, as a Parts Manager or in automotive parts management - Current driving license in good standing
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of shop processes
- Proficient in data entry and inventory management systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and provide solutions to their needs - Professional demeanor, appearance, and communication
- Proven ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
