WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...
  • You are responsible for assisting the Manager in day to day management of Live Haul operations.
  • Monitor catching crews in grow-out areas
  • Train employees ensuring Animal Welfare Policies are in place and followed.
  • Assist in supervising live haul drivers, ensuring safe driving and on-farm practices.
  • Ensure live haul drivers adhere to company safety policies including fleet safety and on-farm practices.
  • Provide backup for Live Haul Manager, assisting in developing catching schedule.
  • Monitor PM Program for Live Haul and Feed Haul Fleet.
  • Train drivers on use of e-logs, monitoring driver hours, and ensuring DOT requirements and compliance.
  • Monitor and administer Drive-Cam System.
  • Respond to farm catching and hauling issues, and vehicular accidents.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM...
  • Ideally, you will have a Bachelor Degree in Animal or Poultry Science or other related area of study.
  • Excellent technology, computer, math and analytical skills.
  • You must have supervisory experience.
  • Must have a Current CDL, or ability to obtain license within 1 year.

THE ENVIRONMENT YOU CAN EXPECT...
  • You will work in a typical office environment within a live operations setting.

Benefits and incentives are available after probationary period of employment, 401k available after 1 year of employment. Team members must meet eligibility requirements to earn incentives and bonuses. Part-time employees are not eligible for benefits, incentives and bonuses.
