Job Overview

The Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority (CMAA) is seeking to fill the position of Airport Police Officer. The primary responsibility of the Airport Police Officer is to provide a safe, secure, and lawful environment for customers and tenants of the Chattanooga Airport.
General duties include but are not limited to, enforcement of all local, state laws, and internal and external customer assistance.

New hires will start on night shift, which includes a 5% shift differential in pay. Please note, working in an airport environment is not the traditional Police Officer role. Candidates will be expected to be more self-sufficient, self-starting, and pro-active.

What you need

To be considered for this position, the candidate must be a Tennessee State Certified Police Officer (POST) and possess a valid driver’s license. The selected candidate must be able to successfully pass a Security Threat Assessment and background check. The Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority is an equal opportunity employer.
