The Aircraft Technician reports to the facility Sr. Aircraft Technician or the Assistant Director in the absence of the Sr. Aircraft Technician. As an Aircraft Technician you should be engaged in a quality disassembly process including:
  • Take primary ownership for the development and improvement of world-class disassembly processes.
  • Help to create a culture of excellence in the workplace where teamwork and active problem solving result in continuous improvement throughout the operation.
  • Ensure all disassembly orders are adhered to in a timely manner.
  • Communicate all delays on disassembly and assigned tasks to Sr. Aircraft Tech.
  • Abide by company policies regarding security and safety in order to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Remove all parts with the highest safety and quality as possible.
  • Work well in a group and handle large tasks with minimum guidance.
  • Work in a variable of climate conditions
  • Task and duties will vary, therefore to be a successful Aircraft Technician you must be flexible and a team player.
  • Ability to travel when needed to offsite projects.
Duties
  • Perform all tasks as assigned by the Sr. Aircraft Technician to help ensure projects/disassemblies are conducted IAW OSHA and all, industry (AFRA/ASA), local, state and federal regulations (FAA).
    • Complete ADC Equipment Checklist daily to ensure the operational integrity of facility equipment and report any discrepancies to the Sr. Tech.
    • Complete ADC Facility Inspections in your assigned area to ensure the cleanliness of the facility and be sure to report any discrepancies to the Sr. Tech.
    • Complete Disassembly Task Cards as assigned by the Sr. Tech with the upmost accuracy to ensure KPI (Key Performance Indicators) are being accurately recorded.
  • Champion the UAM brand values, people values, community initiatives, demonstrating the vision for others, and acting as a role model both within UAM and externally.
